Water & Open Space
The Water & Open Space Committee focuses on sustainability at the community level- whether it be City services or policies that can impact energy use and environmental impact,
- green parks! Improving our existing parks and creating new ones where they are most needed. Making sure that our rivers, wetlands, and habitats are protected.
- green infrastructure! Our front yards, streets, and even our garbage can help protect the environment. Urban trees reduce summer A/C use, tree belts and porous pavement absorb stormwater runoff, and compost can turn into healthy food.
BGreen has begun to use Google Groups as our primary means of communication within working groups. Google Groups acts like a discussion board, but can also send messages to your email inbox.
